Karl and Margaret were born in San Francisco and attended school in San Jose. After graduating from Bellarmine College Preparatory and Notre Dame High School, they attended San Jose State University.
Karl has been in sales, sales management, marketing and consulting his entire career. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Procter and Gamble, Johnson and Johnson and Ciba Geigy/ Novartis Pharmaceuticals. Margaret’s background includes being a supporter of our two children and the various activities in which they participated. After they completed high school, she went to work for Bank of America and in 1989 she secured her Real Estate license and worked with Century 21. Her interest in Real Estate and decorating has been of tremendous value as we formed The Thompson Group and in 2006 and 2007 were successful in earning the distinction of Master Club Award Recipients here in Placer County. Giving back to the community is a passion that has been served through working with various non profits such as Friends Outside, Habitat For Humanity, St. Vincent DePaul and The Lake County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Karl is also a member in good standing of The South Placer County Rotary Club and a Past President and Paul Harris Foundation member of the Kelseyville Sunrise Rotary. We are both active members in our church community. Karl and Margaret purchased their home in Lincoln Hills in early 2003 and have enjoyed the lifestyle and friends made in that time. Hobbies and interests include golfing, traveling, hiking and other outside activities. Some of our greatest moments come in the time we spend with our children and our grandchildren.
